This year’s Anzac Beach Party in support of Waypoints has been cancelled.
The Fort McMurray Food Festival Committee decided that COVID-19 restrictions would drastically limit the overall enjoyment of residents using the Anzac Day Use Area.
Instead of the full event, the committee will shift the barbecue portion to a “pick-up-and-go” setup, so you can grab a burger by donation on your way to the beach.
The date and location for the barbecue will be announced once details are finalized.
The following events are still going as ahead as planned:
- Taste of YMM Eats on July 24
- Virtual Patio Party on July 25
- Strongman Community Breakfast on July 26
- Food Festival Golf Classic on July 27
