No new COVID-19 cases in RMWB, still at 13 active cases

Alberta reported no change in cases of COVID-19 in the RMWB.

Fort McMurray has three new cases of the illness and 56 recoveries, while there are 10 active cases and 41 resolved cases outside the urban service area.

On July 27, Dr Deena Hinshaw, chief medical officer of health, said the curve of COVID-19 in Alberta is “no longer flat”.

In the last 24 hours, there are 80 new cases and 112 newly recovered cases.

Alberta has 1397 active cases and 8886 recoveries across the province.

The province also reported one additional death linked to the infection to bring the death toll to 187.

To date, Alberta Health officials completed 659,242 tests.

88 Albertans are in hospital with COVID-19, including 16 in intensive care.
