The Wood Buffalo Community Foundation provided Keyano College with financial aid to support its virtual teaching.
Keyano received a grant from the Emergency Community Support Fund worth $17,000.
The funds will help create a virtual gathering space for students to connect and participate in group activities.
The post-secondary institution said that a pair of student peer facilitators will receive training in suicide prevention, safe-space, and diversity training, and moderate online events.
Keyano added this will virtual learning in time for the Fall 2020 session.
