NEW YORK (AP) _ Rocket Pharmaceuticals Inc. (RCKT) on Wednesday reported a loss of $25 million in its second quarter.
The New York-based company said it had a loss of 45 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 51 cents per share.
Rocket Pharmaceuticals shares have climbed slightly more than 9% since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
