Four arrested following drug bust in Parsons Creek, Timberlea

Wood Buffalo RCMP made a significant drug bust in Parsons Creek and Timberlea.

Police executed a search warrant at two different residences and a vehicle on July 30, 2020.

During a search of a Dakin Drive residence in Parsons Creek, RCMP seized six grams of suspected cocaine and more than $1500.

They also seized 213 grams of suspected cocaine, 124 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and at least $42,000 from a Timberlea residence on Bacon Place.

RCMP arrested two men and two women, all from Fort McMurray.

47-year-old Jeffrey Caines faces charges of two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, and five counts of failure to comply with conditions.

27-year-old Victoria Fionna Hayner also faces two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.

Police also charged 39-year-old Daniel Summerfelt and 19-year-old Kelsy Balsor each with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.

Caines and Balsor remain in custody.

All four will appear in court on Aug. 11, 2020.
