Vacancies available on three council-appointed committees

You can serve on a council-appointed committee.

Committees make recommendations and advise council on matters that affect the public.

The committees give residents a chance to provide input to local government.

Vacancies are avaialble on the the Downtown Revitalization Committee, Waterfront Advisory Committee and Development Advisory Committee.

Volunteers must have knowledge and experience in the specific sectors.

The Downtown Revitalization Committee makes recommendations on downtown revitalization, which includes direction on phasing and timing of revitalization and enhancement projects.

The Waterfront Advisory Committee works on waterfront revitalization, which includes waterfront design options meeting community needs.

The Wood Buffalo Development Advisory Committee advises on development initiatives, including development and construction issues, community-based issues, public engagement activities and region-wide economic priorities.
