More than 10,000 Albertans recovered from COVID-19

Alberta reported one new case and one recovery of COVID-19 among Wood Buffalo’s rural communities.

There are five active and 53 recovered cases of the illness in the rural hamlets, while Fort McMurray has 11 active cases and 60 recoveries.

Alberta had 134 new cases and three additional deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

It’s the first time in more than a week the province registered over 100 new cases.

To date, more than 10,000 Albertans recovered from COVID-19.

Alberta has 1125 active cases, 208 deaths, and 10,097 recovered cases.

68 Albertans are in hospital with 18 in intensive care.

To date, Alberta Health officials completed 743,885 tests.
