COVID-19 response in RMWB trending positively
Alberta reported no new cases of COVID-19 in the RMWB in the last 24 hours.
Two residents in Fort McMurray recovered from the illness to bring the total number of active cases within the urban service area down to five.
Fort McMurray has 70 recovered cases, up from 60 reported on Aug. 11.

Wood Buffalo’s rural hamlets have a total of seven active cases and 53 resolved cases of COVID-19.

In the last 24 hours, the province reported 84 new cases, 83 recoveries, and one more death linked to COVID-19 across Alberta.
Hospitalization remains low with 48 Albertans in hospital, including 13 in intensive care.
Alberta has 1036 active cases, 221 deaths, and 10,796 recovered cases of COVID-19.

To date, health officials completed 801,360 tests.
