No active cases of COVID-19 among Wood Buffalo's rural hamlets

The province reported one new case and three recoveries of COVID-19 in the RMWB.

Fort McMurray picked up the new case for totals of 12 active cases and 75 recovered cases of the illness.

Outside the urban service area, there are no active cases as the last two recovered in the last 24 hours.

To date, all 60 residents, who tested positive for COVID-19 in Wood Buffalo’s rural communities, recovered.

In the last 24 hours, there were 77 new cases, 114 recoveries, and one additional death linked to COVID-19 across Alberta.

The death toll in the province is now 235.

Alberta has 1134 active cases of the virus, with 46 Albertans in hospital and seven in intensive care.

11,714 Albertans recovered from COVID-19, amounting to more than 89 per cent of the total number in Alberta.
