Active COVID-19 case count increases in Fort McMurray

Alberta reported two new cases of COVID-19 in Fort McMurray.

There are 14 active cases of the illness within the urban service area.

Among Wood Buffalo’s rural communities, there are no active cases of COVID-19.

A total of 135 residents recovered from the illness across the region.

In the last 24 hours, there were 127 new cases of COVID-19, no deaths, and 85 recoveries across Alberta.

Alberta has 1176 active cases, 235 deaths, and 11,799 resolved cases of the virus.

48 Albertans are currently in hospital receiving treatment with seven in intensive care.
