One man is dead following an incident on Hwy. 63 approaching Mariana Lake.
On Sept. 14 around 7:00 p.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP received reports of a semi-truck travelling southbound on the highway that went into a ditch.
The truck driver lost control of the vehicle near marker-147.
Police say a second vehicle also heading south on Hwy. 63 stopped to see if they could provide assistance.
The driver of the second vehicle called 911 and waited for emergency crews.
RCMP, Fire and EMS attended, but they pronounced the adult male driver of the truck deceased at the scene.
The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
