There are several opportunities for residents to make a difference by joining one of Wood Buffalo’s municipal committees.
The RMWB put out a call for volunteers to apply to join a municipal board or committee.
If chosen, residents can use their expertise and knowledge to advise the administration and RMWB Council, and contribute to the Municipality’s overall goals.
The following is a list of committees receiving applications:
- Advisory Committee on Aging
- Assessment Review Boards
- Combative Sports Commission
- Community Identification Committee
- Communities in Bloom Committee
- Community Standards Appeal Committee
- Public Art Committee
- Regional Advisory Committee on Inclusion, Diversity and Equality
- Regional Recreation Corporation Board
- Subdivision and Development Appeal Board
- Wood Buffalo Regional Library Board
- Wood Buffalo Housing and Development Corporation Board
- Wood Buffalo Development Advisory Committee
- Wood Buffalo Downtown Revitalization Advisory Committee
- Wood Buffalo Waterfront Advisory Committee
