Residents may provide input on the new Community Standards Bylaw before it goes before RMWB Council.

Sabrina Caterini, Bylaw Services Manager, said the bylaw will create regulations on various issues from public behaviour and property standards to noise control and idling vehicles.

“The purpose of developing a Community Standards Bylaw is to create a clear and concise set of expectations for visitors, residents and property owners in the region. The new bylaw will update and consolidate some current bylaws, and it will be easier to understand, follow, and enforce.”

The Municipality posted a survey for residents to complete on their website until Oct. 30, 2020.

“We believe that the new Community Standards Bylaw will contribute to making Wood Buffalo a more safe, clean, pleasant place to call home.”
