Upgrades at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre are complete, on time and on budget.

The $43 million project started in spring 2016 and is expected to extend the lifespan of the facility.

Work over the years included replacing and repairing the roof and building exterior.

Crews replaced all exterior windows and doors, building exterior finish materials and support framing, building insulation and roofing.

They also resealed the building exterior and repaired interior window sills.

The project, which created 240 construction and construction-related jobs for Albertans, is a part of the provincial government’s Recovery Plan.
