The RMWB said it is monitoring slope stability in the neighbourhood of Waterways.
A municipal spokesperson said they are aware of ongoing land subsidence issues near Cliff Avenue.
“RMWB Engineering teams are closely monitoring this situation and are being assisted by RES personnel in monitoring. At this time there is no immediate public safety risk.”
During the discussions on flood mitigation, residents of Waterways and Draper commented on slope stability.
MyMcMurray previously received reports of land in other areas, including Hughes Avenue, moving by as much as three feet within the last week.
The reports also said these shifts will impact homes as decks are being moved.
