RCMP execute several outstanding warrants in Janvier and Conklin

Wood Buffalo RCMP conducted a law enforcement initiative on Sept. 22 in the rural communities of Janvier and Conklin.

Police said they had many positive interactions with the public, and thank them for their assistance.

“Wood Buffalo RCMP would like to thank residents for building relationships and providing information which assists police reduce crime in our region. Wood Buffalo RCMP is committed to reducing crime and keeping our community safe.”

RCMP had assistance from Police Dog Services, General Duty, Municipal Traffic, RCMP Air Services, and the Integrated Traffic Unit.

For their efforts, police executed several outstanding warrants for arrest in the southern hamlets.

  • 10 outstanding warrants executed
  • Four charges for breach of probation
  • Two stolen vehicles recovered
  • 56 charges under the Traffic Safety Act

 

Wood Buffalo RCMP also recovered stolen property.
