Three people arrested following drug investigation

Three people were arrested on Oct. 9 after police executed a search warrant at a downtown condo complex.

Wood Buffalo RCMP Drug Section, along with Wood Buffalo RCMP Crime Reduction Unit, Municipal Traffic Services, and the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) executed the search warrant.

The search resulted in the seizure of around 166 grams of suspected cocaine along with $11,000.

Becky Leanne Blonski, 46, of Fort McMurray has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking cocaine and fail to comply with conditions.

Garry Roy Gibbons, 20, of Brandon, Man. and Isaiah Thomas Molag, 21, of Abbotsford, B.C. were both charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

All three were set to appear in court on Oct. 13.
