Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) Fort McMurray intercepted a drug shipment headed to Fort McMurray.

On Oct. 8, ALERT Fort McMurray’s organized crime and gang team seized around $75,000 worth of drugs.

Most of the drugs were found in a vehicle travelling into Fort McMurray on Highway 63, while drugs were also found during the search of a downtown apartment.

Police seized 278 grams of cocaine, 4.1 kilograms of cannabis, 40 cannabis vape pens, and $2,150 cash.

Olufetemi Victor Arogundade, 24, along with 24-year-old Jordan Reid, and 21-year-old Tyana Kenny all of Fort McMurray are facing charges.

Gregory Sinclair, 25, of Edmonton is also facing charges.

The four people arrested face a total 14 charges related to drug trafficking.
