Keyano College announced the continuation of its online and blended delivery of programming into the upcoming Winter 2021 semester.

Despite the challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic, the post-secondary institution said program delivery during Fall 2020, when feasible, was successful.

Limited in-person learning in labs and shops will also continue as public health guideline permit.

Keyano invested in enhanced online tools to support students along with virtual opportunities to connect with students, faculty, and staff.

The school said it can continue its online and virtual programs should Alberta Health Services impose another increase in COVID-19 restrictions.

Keyano College added it’s working with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT).

Apprenticeship training will continue in the blended delivery model in Winter 2021.

“Our priority remains keeping students and staff healthy and safe. While this remains a changing situation with many unknowns, we want to assure our community that we commit to provide an exceptional experience for students, one that will prepare them for a career or for further education.”

Keyano will continue following guidance from Public Health, AHS, and other responsible agencies.

Online registration for Keyano’s Winter programs is available on the school website.
