Wood Buffalo RCMP arrest man on multiple counts of mischief

Wood Buffalo RCMP arrested Bradley Love and charged him on multiple counts of mischief.

Police made the arrest on Oct. 23, 2020.

Mischief update

Wood Buffalo RCMP received several additional complaints related to a mischief case on July 22, 2020.

At approximately 5:00 p.m., police received a report of mischief in a parking lot near Timberlea Landing.

“The suspect left racially related writings on the victim’s vehicle and is alleged to have slashed the tires.”

Police asked for witnesses who noticed any suspicious activity that afternoon near the 200 block of Powder Drive to contact them.

Other victims responded alleging someone placed racially related messages on their vehicles while unoccupied.

Some added their tires were slashed along with receiving the messaging.

Wood Buffalo General Investigation Section (GIS) identified similar reports going back to February of 2020.

GIS executed a search warrant at a Prairie Creek residence on Oct. 2 and then arrested Love on Oct. 23.

Love faces 10 counts of mischief under $5000 for occurrences dated between Feb. 27 and Sept. 26, 2020.

Police released him from custody on conditions, but Love will appear in court on Dec. 2.
