Wood Buffalo RCMP arrests four men on drug trafficking related charges

Police arrested four men from Fort McMurray on drug trafficking-related charges.

On Oct. 29, Wood Buffalo RCMP executed a search warrant at an Eagle Ridge residence on Grosbeak Way.

They seized 150 grams of suspected cocaine, drug trafficking-related paraphernalia, and over $3000.

40-year-old Norman Kenneth Lineham, 39-year-old Richard Harvey Barrow, 29-year-old Demetre Leelyn Lewis Desjarlais, and 19-year-old Jeremy Joseph Cardinal were charged.

RCMP arrested Lineham for possession for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking cocaine, proceeds of crime not exceeding $5000, and possession of Cannabis for the purpose of selling it.

Barrow faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling it.

Police charged Desjarlais with possession for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking cocaine, and proceeds of crime not exceeding $5000.

They also charged Cardinal with possession for the purpose of trafficking and trafficking cocaine.

RCMP released all four individuals, who will appear in court on Nov. 24, 2020.
