RCMP arrest second man in relation to 2018 break and enters

Wood Buffalo RCMP arrested a second man in relation to break and enters at several businesses in Gregoire Lake Reserve and Anzac in 2018.

On Nov. 26, police arrested 23-year-old Chad Davis Cardinal for his alleged role in the incident.

Among the charges are three counts of break and enter into a business, two counts of mischief over $5000, mischief under $5000, theft over $5000, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.

Chad Cardinal will appear in court on Nov. 30, 2020.

The General Investigation Section will continue with its investigation.

RCMP arrested 25-year-old Billy Thompson Cardinal on Nov. 5, 2020, in connection with the alleged break and enters.

Police previously said they believe the break-ins occurred between Dec 2-3, 2018.
