EDMONTON (660 NEWS) – The province has recorded 38 more deaths related to COVID-19 in Alberta.
Making it the highest daily number recorded since Jan. 9 when there were 31 deaths reported.

The death toll in the province now sits at 1,345.

Breakdown of COVID-19 numbers:
– 652 new cases

This as 652 new cases were reported during Tuesday provincial update.
The positivity rate is now at 6.8 per cent.
Eight hundred and nineteen people are in the hospital, with 132 in the ICU.
There have been more than 98 thousand recoveries in the province. Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw’s next live update will be on Wednesday.
