Hinshaw confirms 451 new cases of COVID-19, seven additional deaths

EDMONTON (660 NEWS) – Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw says there have been 451 new cases of COVID-19 and seven new deaths discovered in the province.

There have now been 1,606 deaths in the province.

There are currently 591 cases in hospital and 112 in ICU.

There are 300 Alberta schools with alerts or outbreaks and 593 cases in schools.
