FORT MCMURRAY ( 660 NEWS ) — Wyatt Thunder of Athabasca, Alberta is due to appear in court in connection with the death of 23-year-old Kelsey Thunder.
Athabasca RCMP and EMS responded to a call at 3:55 In the morning of Mar. 22.
When they arrived at a home in the east end of Athabasca, they found Kelsey unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her death was deemed suspicious and led to an investigation by the RCMP Major Crimes Unit. The investigation led to the arrest of 26-year-old Wyatt of Athabasca.
RCMP cannot confirm a relationship between the deceased and the suspect.

Wyatt faces a charge of second-degree murder. Wyatt was remanded in police custody.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Mar. 25 in Fort Saskatchewan.
