“We are Canada’s longest-established reserve and Noha will build on this history,” said Chief Vern Janvier. “As our flagship company, Noha exists to empower and sustain a strong, vibrant Nation for generations to come, utilizing resources from the land and giving back to each member of our Nation. I am confident that under our CEO’s leadership and this approach to community relations the entire Nation will benefit from Noha as we take these important steps together.”

Noha has strategically selected a team of 23 joint-venture partners to complement the wholly owned company. From global powerhouses to niche providers, these partners have been chosen because of the experience and knowledge they deliver in bringing projects to successful fruition.

“I am humbled and honoured to lead this new venture as an exciting path forward for the Chipewyan Prairie First Nation,” said McGrath. “Noha will work hard alongside the community and our partners to position CPFN as a business-savvy and flourishing Nation – one that truly values the membership by fostering capacity from within, while responsibly developing resources from the land.”
