CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Alberta Premier Jason Kenney has announced another set of restrictions for the province.
All schools in the province will now be headed online on Friday, this change will be in effect until May 25.
Retail services will be reduced to 10 per cent capacity.
Restaurants will now be forced to move back to take-out and delivery only with patios no longer an option for the next three weeks.

Effective as of 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, personal wellness services such as hair and nail salons, barbershops and tattoo shops will also be forced to close for the next three weeks as well.
Outdoor gatherings have now been reduced from 10 people down to five, with Kenney strongly recommending no more than two family cohorts gather together.
Workplaces that experience an outbreak of COVID-19 will be forced to close for 10 days with the exception of critical workplaces.
“Places of worship, currently limited to 15 per cent capacity, will be limited to 15 people as they were last spring,” Kenney said. “Sadly, funerals, currently limited to 20 people, will now be limited to 10.”
Outdoor sports and recreation will be limited to households and close contacts only. Youth and adult performance will now close.

Indoor fitness will also now be completely closed.
The premier also announcing an increase to fines in an effort to ensure Albertans follow the public health orders.
“We are now doubling the fine for violating public health measures from $1,000 to $2,000. The maximum fine for serious offences remains, under the law, $100,000.
“We will not tolerate those who endanger the health of their fellow Albertans, while the vast majority of people are doing the right thing.”
The premier did not take any questions following the announcement. Instead, he will be joined by Health Minister Tyler Shandro, Education Minister Adriana LaGrange and Justice Minister Kaycee Madu on Wednesday morning to face questions and talk further about the restrictions.
That event is set to take place at 10 a.m.
