EDMONTON – Premier Jason Kenney is set to announce new COVID-19 restrictions in Alberta at an address Tuesday evening.

Kenney’s executive director of communications, Brock Harrison, confirmed the update would come down shortly after 6 p.m. on Twitter.

The premier said Monday that the government was working on new restrictions as the province grapples with surging COVID-19 cases.

However, it’s still unclear what could be included in the next round of restrictions.
