CALGARY — Albertans will now be able to receive their first dose of a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at several different walk-in clinics across the province.

Clinics will range from Fort McMurray all the way down to Lethbridge, with locations set up in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and more.

Second doses will not be available at these clinics.

This comes as the province has opened up second-dose vaccine appointments across the province for those who received their first shot in March or earlier.

While thousands of Albertans have booked into those appointments, there are still many more appointments available for booking.

The province is hoping this will help everyone who hasn’t received their first dose get one, as the province focuses its attention on second-dose appointments.
