Wood Buffalo RCMP investigating Fort McMurray home invasion

FORT MCMURRAY (660 NEWS) – Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating a home invasion that happened in Fort McMurray this past April.

At around 4 a.m. on April 6, police say four masked and armed suspects broke into a home in Dickinsfield by forcing their way through the front door.

The residents were home at the time, however RCMP say there was no interaction between them and the suspects and no one was injured.

Wood Buffalo RCMP provided the following suspect descriptions in a news release:

Suspect 1: Heavy build, wearing a distinctive face covering that was grey, with black spots and blue edge (pictured).

Suspect 2: Thin build, wearing a blue hoodie with Batman logo (center chest), dark pants and dark shoes.

Suspect 3: Heavy build, wearing a blue Carhartt zip-front hoodie (with vertical text on left chest), dark pants and light colored work boots.

Suspect 4: Thin build, wearing camouflage pants, black footwear, black coat/hoodie, black balaclava and a backpack.

The suspect vehicle (pictured) has five-spoked rims and is believed to be either a 2006-2011 Honda Civic 4-door sedan or Acura CSX.
