Alberta reports 127 new COVID-19 cases, administers 66,669 vaccine doses
CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Alberta health officials are reporting 127 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, as well as 116 new variant cases.
The latest provincial data comes from 5,055 tests for a positivity rate of roughly 2.5 per cent.
An additional six deaths were reported as the province nears 2,300 total COVID deaths since the start of the pandemic (2,289).

There are currently 221 people in hospital, with 49 of those patients being treated in intensive care.
Alberta now has 2170 active cases — 1,001 in Calgary and 427 in Edmonton.
More than 27 per cent of eligible Albertans are fully immunized, with 66,669 doses being administered in the past 24 hours.
