CALGARY — Alberta identified 397 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday following the completion of nearly 7,500 tests.
The province’s positivity rate over the last day was about 5.3 per cent.
There are currently 2,526 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta.

Hospitalizations also continue to trend upwards, with 102 people now in hospital, an increase of five from Wednesday.
ICU admissions now sit at 24.
There was one additional death reported on Thursday.

As for vaccinations, there were over 10,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered over the last day — 2,697 of which were first dose appointments.
To date, 76.2 per cent of Albertans 12 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while 66.2 per cent are now fully vaccinated.
