Residents invited to make a difference in the community

CALGARY – (660 NEWS) Residents in Fort McMurray looking to get involved and take part in decisions affecting their community are encouraged to apply to join a municipal board or committee.

The city says enthusiastic, community-minded individuals can share their skills, ideas and experience by applying online today.

“Members of our boards and committees will help a new Council make important decisions that affect our region,” said Chief Legislative Officer Jade Brown. “These volunteers work to make our communities an even better place to live-there are many opportunities to take part.”

Communities in Bloom Committee
