RED DEER – Mounties in central Alberta have charged a woman in connection to the recent death of a toddler.
Red Deer RCMP was called around 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 10 to assist EMS with a two-year-old who had been critically injured.
The child was taken to the hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
Mounties aren’t sharing too many other details about the child’s death, only that a 30-year-old woman was charged with first-degree murder in the case earlier this week.
Police say the victim and the accused were known to each other.
