Many Starbucks customers look forward to the festive beverages the coffee chain rolls out every holiday season.

But this year, while peppermint mocha, caramel brulee, chestnut praline, and Irish cream flavours are all back, the beloved gingerbread and eggnog lattes are noticeably absent and fans have been speaking out.

Someone has even created an online petition, urging Starbucks to bring back the eggnog latte.

The rollout of the holiday beverages has even stirred up a heated discussion among the CityNews digital team, which includes some who don’t care for any flavoured coffees whatsoever.

Starbucks also unveiled its holiday themed cups that feature wrapping paper, ribbon, lights, and candy cane designs.

The Cranberry Bliss Bar and Gingerbread Loaf are among the holiday food items making a return this year.

Ahead of Remembrance Day, the company says you can donate to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund at the counter or through the mobile app. You can also dedicate a digital poppy to a veteran.

Any veteran, current member of the Armed Forces, or military spouse can ask for a free tall coffee on Nov. 11.
