It would seem there is a Grinch roaming around Leduc, south of Edmonton.
RCMP are investigating after the community’s Christmas light display was damaged last week.
It’s believed to have happened sometime between Nov. 8 at 5 p.m. and Nov. 9 at 3 p.m. after someone came to the area and cut the ends off the strings of lights.

Some lights were able to be repaired, while others had to be replaced.
“We are so fortunate to live in a beautiful city that takes the time to put up display such as this one,” said Const. Cheri-Lee Smith. “Damaging the display is not only criminal, it is senseless and unnecessary.”
Leduc RCMP is asking anyone who may have information to contact them at 780-980-7267.
