FORT MCMURRAY – (CityNews) – Wood Buffalo’s ‘Communities in Bloom’ annual ‘Nominate your Neighbour’ winter program has begun and will run until December 20.
The city is encouraging residents and local businesses to put up holiday decorations and then residents can vote for their favourite displays. Each year, the program provides opportunities for community members to recognize front yards and storefronts with outstanding light displays through an online form.
Pictures of the nominated homes and businesses will also be uploaded to social media sites.
All nominees will receive a certificate and lawn sign from Wood Buffalo Communities in Bloom as a thank you.
