A video depicting an assault circulating on social media has drawn the attention of Fort Chipewyan RCMP.
On June 27, 2022, police were made aware of the video and began their investigation.
RCMP said its local known setting tipped off police, who later identified the victim of the assault and the suspect.
Fort Chipewyan RCMP have charged a 19-year-old woman with assault and failure to comply with a release order.
