Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a dirt bike driver involved in a hit and run collision with a pedestrian.
On Aug. 24, 2022, at 8:50 p.m. Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a complaint from Signal Road, where the incident occurred.
Witnesses informed officers that someone driving a dirt bike, near where kids were playing, damaged a nearby vehicle.
After striking a pedestrian, the driver lost control of the bike and fled the scene on foot.
The pedestrian received minor injuries.
RCMP recovered the dirt bike, but were unable to identify the driver.

Below is a description of the person suspected of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle:
- Approximately 5’8”
- Thin build
- Black hoodie
- Blue and White helmet
- Tan pants
- Late Teens early 20’s
- Carrying a black backpack
Wood Buffalo RCMP ask anyone with information about the driver to contact them.
