Missing Saskatchewan man has ties to region

RCMP in northern Saskatchewan are looking for a missing 47-year-old man with ties to Fort McMurray, Alta.

Police in Turnor Lake said Bartholomew Herman was last seen the night of Nov. 16, 2022, walking along Highway 155 near the community of Bear Creek, Sask.

In a release, RCMP said they’re worried for his safety.

Also known as “Bart” or “Moon”, Herman is Indigenous, five foot seven, has black hair and brown eyes, and has a medium build and weighs approximately 175 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and winter boots.

RCMP also said he has connections to various communities around La Loche and as far south as Meadow Lake, Sask.

He also has ties to Cold Lake and Fort McMurray, Alta.

However, it’s unconfirmed if he may have been to one of these areas.
