Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating a vehicular theft of a total of 13 vehicles from a car dealership in Fort McMurray’s Taiganova area.

Police said the incident occurred on Nov. 17, 2022, between 12:30 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., with seven three-quarter-ton and one-ton pickup trucks, three full-size SUVs, a half-ton pickup truck, and two mid-size SUVs being stolen.

Employees made the discovery when they arrived at the dealership later that morning.

RCMP adding the stolen vehicles were between the model years 2019 and 2022, and have dealer stickers on the windows.

Since the investigation began, several of the stolen vehicles have been recovered in communities across Alberta.

Investigators are asking for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the area between 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 16 and 2:00 a.m. on Nov. 17 to come forward.
