The RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating the sudden death of a man in Fort McMurray.
On Nov. 14, 2022, Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to an apartment building on Franklin Ave., and once inside the residence found a 40-year-old man dead at the scene.
Officers located another man at the scene and arrested him.
He was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries not related to the arrest, treated, and then released from police custody.
RCMP are not looking for any suspects related to the death.
However, its Major Crimes Unit will continue with its investigation.
