Aaron Goodvin comes to town in first Canadian tour

Country music superstar Aaron Goodvin is coming to Fort McMurray.

The award-winning, double platinum-selling artist has announced his first Canadian headline tour, which begins on Jan. 20, 2023, in Lloydminster, Alta.

“It’s The Ride” sponsored by Co-operators pulls in to the Keyano Theatre and Arts Centre on Jan. 26.

Born in Spirit River, Alta., the Nashville-based Goodvin said this tour has been almost three years in the making.

“We’ve all worked so hard to get here and I am really excited about covering so much of Canada over these next couple of months.”

Goodvin will perform songs from his latest EP, Lucky Stars, such as “You Ain’t” and his second career #1 song in Canada, “Boy Like Me”.

His tour will also feature special guest and CCMA Award-winning singer Hailey Benedict.

Goodvin has two critically acclaimed albums, two Number One singles, and received the 2018 CCMA Songwriter of the Year Award, and a 2020 JUNO Award nomination for Country Album of the Year.
