Man arrested by RCMP on Allison Bay Reserve

Fort Chipewyan RCMP have arrested and charged a man following a disturbance on the Allison Bay Reserve.

According to police on May 11, 2023, officers responded to the area and apprehended a male suspect.

During the arrest, RCMP seized 42 grams of suspected cocaine and $1000 cash.

A 44-year-old man from Fort Chipewyan has been charged with the following:

  • Assault
  • Mischief under $5000
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of property obtained by crime

 

Released with conditions, he’s scheduled to appear in court on June 1, 2023.
