Local man charged with luring teen girls in Ontario

Police in Timmins, Ontario, say the 27-year-old suspect contact three teens back in September 2022, adding he was arrested on similar charges by ALERT's ICE unit in a separate investigation back in June of this year.

Ontario police have charged a Fort McMurray man on accusations of child luring over social media.

According to police in Timmins, Ont., the suspect made separate contact with three teenage girls for a sexual purpose back in September 2022.

“Any illicit, unsavory, or persistent unwelcome contact should be reported to the police for investigation without delay.”

Investigators said the same man was arrested by ALERT’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit on June 1, 2023, based on similar criminal acts believed to have been committed in Alberta.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 27-year-old Jordan White of Fort McMurray.
