Wood Buffalo RCMP seek suspected scammers

According to RCMP, two suspects fraudulently used a commercial credit card at various gas stations across Alberta, particularly in Fort McMurray on April 2 and May 8, 2023.

Police are looking for suspects following reports of the fraudulent use of a credit card.

In a statement, Wood Buffalo RCMP said two unknown suspects used the commercial card to buy over $10,000 worth of fuel on April 2 and May 8, 2023.

“The suspects used the card at various locations in Fort McMurray and elsewhere within the Province of Alberta.”

RCMP believe the suspects are associated with three vehicles, including a side-by-side.

Police have released a series of screenshots from surveillance footage in the hopes someone may recognize them and notify investigators.
