Conceptual designs for the Anzac Church Memorial are now online.
According to the Municipality, the development follow progress made in Public Works‘ last engagement session in April 2022.
“Commemorating the landmark was requested by the community to ensure local history was honored. The former church was removed in February 2016 and was a focal point celebrating important community memories.”
Beginning Aug. 21, 2023, community members may take an online survey and review the concepts being considered.
The RMWB has also scheduled an in-person Open House at the Anzac Recreation Centre on Sept. 7, 2023, which includes one-on-one conversations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The deadline for the survey is Sept. 14, 2023.
A final design will be shared with the public after all viewpoints and survey results have been reviewed.
