The annual corporate challenge for the Wood Buffalo Food Bank Drive raised $324,155, surpassing the one day goal of $300,000.
A full list of donations can be found at the Country 93.3 page but among them was an anonymous $70,000 donation at the end of the day that pushed donations over the goal.
The drive now enters three days of collections across the city with volunteers stationed at Wal Mart, Sobeys downtown and Thickwood locations, SaveOn Thickwood, downtown and Stoney Creek locations, Superstore, Family Foods, Extra Foods, and SafeWay downtown, to collect your donations in hopes of surpassing the goal of raising 75,000 pounds of food.
There are still spaces for volunteers to sign up to get involved to help out for the weekend.
