GoFundMe page created for victim of Nexen Long Lake blast

Fort McMurray is rallying around one of its fallen brothers as a GoFundMe page has been setup for the victim in Friday’s explosion at Nexen’s Long Lake’s Hydro Cracker Unit.

The 52-year-old man has been identified by sources as Drew Foster, he died at the scene.

Another worker identified as only a 30-year-old man by Alberta Occupational Health and Safety was flown by helicopter to the burn unit at the University Hospital in Edmonton according to the Edmonton Journal.

A source close to the family says the 30-year-old man is still in very critical condition with burns covering most of his body.
