Man dies following shooting at Timberlea apartment

Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a report of shots fired inside an apartment complex in Timberlea on March 15 around 6:30 a.m.

There they found two men with non-life-threatening injuries and another with serious life-threatening injuries.

The man with serious life-threatening injuries, Hanad Mohamed, has succumbed to his injuries.

An autopsy has been done at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton and the death has been deemed a homicide.

The 30-year-old was of Fort McMurray.

Anyone with footage of the area of 200 Lougheed Dr. from the day of the incident between 6 and 7 a.m. should contact police.

It’s believed the suspect, pictured above, was wearing a mask to disguise their identity.
